'Show reel coming soon'
Young people face a huge challenge ahead, with a changing climate, volatile weather, divided societies, energy and water scarcity. This is a hard time to be growing up and then add in the pressures of their peers schools and social media. This is an overwhelming amount of pressure. We as a global society are then doing little to help prepare them for this.
This is where I can help.
Young people need resilience to life. Life is hard and we each will face challenges in the course of our life no matter where we are from or are background.
My talk, The Journey of Resilience takes from my experience around the world on expeditions and adventures. These left me in some very dangerous situations. This builds a certain amount of resilience that I can bring to life through stories and relate to the young people. Having been working with young people for over a decade on expeditions, activities and youth programmes I know how to get the young peoples attention, hold it and leave with them a lasting impact.

"Yesterdays assembly was both inspirational and informative. The experiences that Richard shared with us has shown me how much you can do with limited resources."
